Developed by NeverAtHome in collaboration with the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, this project builds on a shared commitment to international cultural exchange. Combining NeverAtHome's interdisciplinary and internationally oriented programme with the Austrian Cultural Forums, it creates new opportunities for artistic production, dialogue and long-term collaboration across diverse local contexts worldwide.
(XXTextmissing) NeverAtHome believes that the most exciting ideas often emerge through encounter. Rather than defining a common theme, the platform creates a framework in which artists can meet, exchange perspectives, and develop projects together.
Each edition brings together a new international community of artists whose diverse experiences, disciplines, and cultural contexts become the starting point for collaboration. The focus is not only on the final outcome, but equally on the process of working together—encouraging experimentation, dialogue, and long-term connections that extend beyond the programme itself.
(XXTextmissing) Austria Kultur International is the international cultural programme of the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs (BMEIA). Through a worldwide network of Austrian Cultural Forums, embassies, and partner institutions, it promotes Austrian contemporary arts and culture while fostering international dialogue and cultural exchange.
As the institutional partner of NeverAtHome, Austria Kultur International provides the international framework that enables artists to connect across countries, strengthens cross-border collaboration, and supports the presentation of artistic work within a global cultural network.
